Better decisions begin with
better questions.

Practical guides and lightweight frameworks you can use to clarify priorities, test readiness and prepare more productive conversations.

INTERACTIVE FRAMEWORK / 01

Implementation readiness.

Before committing to a major initiative, examine four conditions that frequently determine whether an organization can act on a plan.

This is a discussion tool, not an audit, clinical assessment or predictive score. Your selections remain in this browser session and are not submitted.

SELF-ASSESSMENT4 QUESTIONS
01 We have a clear problem statement and an observable starting point.
02 One person can make the important scope and tradeoff decisions.
03 The required people, time and budget can realistically be made available.
04 We know how to review outcomes and respond if the approach needs to change.

COMMON QUESTIONS

A little clarity before you reach out.

Do I need to know which capability I need?+

No. Describe the business problem first. A discovery conversation can identify whether a particular workstream is appropriate.

Can you work with an existing internal team?+

Yes, when the scope permits. Clear roles, information access and governance are essential when several teams are involved.

Does a business need to generate $100,000 per month?+

Not necessarily. That level can be an indicator of a mature operating context, but the suitability of an engagement depends on the problem, its value, the business model and implementation readiness.

Do you guarantee commercial or operational outcomes?+

No responsible advisor can guarantee results that depend on markets, execution, approvals and client decisions. The engagement should define objectives, assumptions and an honest measurement approach.

Do you operate internationally?+

We consider engagements across markets. The exact delivery scope depends on local requirements, suitability and the work involved.

Initiative Prioritization

For each initiative, write a one-sentence definition, then assess:

  1. Impact: What changes if this works?
  2. Evidence: What makes the benefit plausible?
  3. Effort: Who and what would implementation consume?
  4. Risk: Which dependencies could prevent adoption?

Compare initiatives in a discussion. Avoid false precision when the evidence is weak.

Decision Brief Template

Use these prompts to prepare a decision for review.

  1. What is the specific operating problem?
  2. What happens if no change is made?
  3. Which options have been considered?
  4. What facts are known and what remains assumed?
  5. Who owns the decision and implementation?
  6. What is the smallest useful next step?
PUT A FRAMEWORK TO WORK

A 30-minute decision review you can run with your own team.

Choose one consequential issue, not a list of every frustration. Bring the people who own the process and can authorize a next step. Use this structure to replace vague urgency with an explicit decision.

Clarify the change

Describe the operating condition you want to improve and why it matters now. Avoid naming a solution too early.

Separate fact from assumption

Agree on what evidence is reliable, what is incomplete and which beliefs could change the recommendation.

Compare realistic options

Include maintaining the current approach, a modest pilot and a larger intervention when relevant.

Assign the next decision

Name the owner, the evidence required and the date when the issue will be reviewed again.

DECISION NOTE / WORKING FORMAT

Write this in one page.

Problem
What is happening, for whom and with what consequence?
Evidence
Which facts support the diagnosis and what remains uncertain?
Options
What are the credible alternatives, including doing less?
Owner and constraints
Who can decide and what limits the options?
Next review
What will be learned or delivered before making a larger commitment?
